Requirements and Evaluation Methods of Indoor Thermal Comfort of Human Body, numbered GB/T 33658-2017, were released on May 12, 2017. This set of standards put an end to the previous performance-oriented standards of air conditioners, and is expected to kick in from December 1, 2017. For a longtime, domestic national standard of air conditioners focuses only on basic performances such as cooling and heating capacity, noise level and efficiency level, rather than indoor thermal comfort of human body. This set of standards tap into this field for the first time.
