Thank you for visiting our website. As president of CHEAA, I'm honored to brief you about China's home appliance industry and CHEAA.

China's home appliance industry has its beginning in 1980s, and has evolved into one of the major manufacturer in the world. In 2015, its revenue registered 1.41 trillion Yuan.

Registered with Ministry of Civil Affairs, CHEAA was voluntarily founded by home appliance manufacturers registered in Chinese mainland in 1988. In nearly 30 years, we share weal and woe with China's home appliance industry. To date, we have a membership of 376, representing 62% of the whole industry (enterprise above designated size), whose industrial output value account for 90% of the whole industry. Our members include many domestically and internationally recognized enterprises, such as Haier, Midea, Hisense, Meiling, Fotile, Robam,Joyoung, Whirlpool, Bosch, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, A.O. Smith, Philips, Electrolux, etc. We have long been committed to advance the development of China's home appliance industry.

With a structural rebalance in its economy underway, China sees an apparent upward trend in consumption with an increased demand in high-end, smart, environmentally friendly home appliances. Against this backdrop, we play a leading part in organizing technology communications for our membership to find a direction, guide them to step up R&D investments, enhance product quality and optimize product mix as a way of coping with challenges posed by the consumption upgrading. We understand China's home appliance industry, and we're committed to advance the industry development by providing the industry with leadership, support for tech innovation, protection, and our members with premium services.

We closely follow not only the domestic market, but also the international ones. Through our efforts in guiding China home appliance industry to go global, we're committed to be part of the success of global home appliance industry. We call on our membership to work to achieve excellence in product quality, meeting and exceeding consumers' expectations, and act responsibly in energy conservation, such as delivering on the requirements of Montreal Protocol and phasing out ozone depletion substances. We keep close contact with our international counterparts, and co-founded IRHMA with AHAM, CECED, JEMA, ANFAD and KEA. By initiating a smart home appliance working group under IRHMA, we work to look for solutions to the standardization and marketization of smart home appliances. Besides, we play an active part in coordinating disputes in international trades.

Welcome to our website. We are looking forward to cooperate with you down the road and contribute to the development of global home appliance industry.
