General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (AQSIQ) unveiled results of its first selective inspection of 2017 on March 15, 2017. Out of home appliances, range hoods, electric ovens and grills, and room space heaters were inspected.
Range hoods
The inspection of range hoods covered 60 batches of products from 60 enterprises in 6 provinces of Hebei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Guangdong and Sichuan. Substandard products were found in 5 batches.
Electric ovens and grills
The inspection of electric ovens and grills covered 46 batches of products from 46 enterprises in 3 provinces of Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong. Substandard products were found in 6 batches.
Room space heaters
The inspection of room space heaters covered 90 batches of products from 90 enterprises in 10 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities of Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan and Guizhou. Substandard products were found in 15 batches.
