China’s Ministry of Commerce names 2023 “The Year of the Consumption Reboot”, according to Minister Wang Wentao on March 2 2023. Home appliance sector is one of the industries pinpointed by the Ministry of Commerce. Measures will be taken to promote sales of green and smart home appliances in rural areas and the replacement of old home appliances for new ones to spur the vitality of consumption.
