By province, Guangdong ranked first in air conditioner production during the first five months of 2023, with a total of 35.603 million units and a year-on-year increase of 15.24%. Anhui ranked second with a total production of 12.3949 million units and a year-on-year growth of 1.73%. Hubei ranked third with a total production of 10.2472 million units, a year-on-year increase of 9.8%.
