Under the guidance of relevant departments of the State Council, China Household Electrical Appliances Association (CHEAA) organized the industry to develop a series of standards on safe service life of home appliances that cover refrigerator and wine cabinet, air conditioner, washing machine and dryer, hood, gas cooktop and water heater, and released them on January 6, 2020. The standards have since taken effect.
