Dyson voluntarily filed a plan to General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of P.R.C (AQSIQ) recently to start its recall of some imported HP series air purifying heater starting 12 Dec, 2017. This recall involves 4 models numbered HP00, HP01, HP02 and HP03 manufactured in Malaysia during 1 Oct, 2015 to 30 Jun, 2017. Approximately 116,283 units of the affected products were sold in Chinese mainland.
The involved products may pose safety hazards because of a lack of safety warning in its instruction. The product instruction did not point out “do not place it under a socket”. Dyson plans to release it recall plan on its website soon (www.dyson.cn), offers a revised electric instruction online and paper instruction at request.
