First national standard for electric rice cookers took effect

National standard GB/T 40978-2021 Electric rice cookers took effect on June 1, 2022. As the first national standard designed for the sector, it is expected to play a role in regulating product manufacturing, promoting product upgrading and safeguarding consumers’ health and safety.
