Appliance & Electronics World Expo 2018 (AWE 2018) kicks off at Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (SNIEC) on March 8th 2018 and lasts till March 11th 2018, with a record-setting 10 exhibition halls covering an area of 130,000 square meters, more than 800 exhibitors, and an estimated number of 250,000 visitors at home abroad.

Covering Hall E1-E7 and Hall W1-W3 in SNIEC, the four-day show brings together renowned appliances manufacturers, consumer electronics makers, core component suppliers and IT companies across the world to exhibit their products, services and solutions spanning white goods, consumer electronics, digital devices, kitchen appliances, life appliances, environment appliances, healthcare appliances, wearable devices, intelligent platforms, parts and accessories and systematic solutions. What’s more, AWE is preferred by more and more enterprises to roll out their blockbusters. According to rough statistics, nearly 100 product release conferences have taken place during AWE 2018.

Centered on “smart life”, a wide array of exhibitors showcases their innovative results regarding IoT, big data, and artificial intelligence at AWE. Meanwhile, AWE 2018 furthers its exploration of smart technologies by throwing a Technology Park, which shows consumers how technology is affecting our daily life through scenario-based exhibitions. Spanning artificial intelligence, smart travelling, smart entertainment and sports and health, the Technology Park focuses on cross-sector technologies with brands from across the world on show.

At AWE 2018, a software development kit (SDK) and a Cloud-to-Cloud Interconnection (CIC) label, the latest progress of CHEAA’s CIC project for smart home appliances, are released by China Household Electrical Appliances Association (CHEAA) and the CIC work group members. At Exhibition Hall W2, onsite demonstrations of CIC SDK-based smart life scenarios receive hands-on inspections of visitors with products of 16 categories from 10 enterprises on display. The CIC solution catches the eyes of the global industry. To date, AHAM, APPliA, JEMA and KEA have contacted CHEAA for a copy of the CIC standard.

AWE offers a package of forums and industry conferences too, including the 8th China Household Electrical Appliance Development Summit, AWE 2018 Global Media Day, Press Release Conference of Cloud-to-cloud interconnection SDK and Label, China Environment and Health Household Electrical Appliance Summit, Global Technology AI Chip Innovation Conference, China Electrical Appliance Supply Chain Summit, China Real Estate Fine Decoration Forum, AWE Award Ceremony and China New Retail Summit.

What AWE presents has been reported onsite by more than a hundred domestic media including CCTV, Dragon TV, Hunan Satellite TV and Zhejiang Satellite TV, and more than 35 overseas media including BBC, CNN, Associated Press, New York Times, Le Figaro, and New Straits Times. What’s more, AWE 2018 is graced by Ambassadors and Commercial Counselors from more than 10 countries, and delegates from German modern kitchen association Arbeitsgemeinschaft Die Moderne Küche e.V. (AMK) as well as top managers of its member enterprises.

Organized by CHEAA, AWE believes in steady development and result-first approach. Sticking to the goal of creating user value, it has been growing year by year, winning increased recognition at home and abroad. As one of the top three household appliance and electronics exhibitions in the world, AWE has become a match of IFA and CES.

“We firmly believe that, AWE will fuel the cross-industry integration of home appliances and emerging sectors, and the interaction between the industry and consumers on multiple levels, kicking off a brand new way of smart living.” Jiang Feng, President of CHEAA, says, “We hope that, through cooperation with global partners and our increased efforts in meeting consumers’ upgraded needs, AWE could embrace a better future.”
