Haier to build 50 million euro fridge factory in Romania

Haier Group will invest over 50 million Euro to build a refrigerator factory in the town of Aricetii Rahtivani, Prahova County, Romania, according to the report of local media on February 18 2020. The 54,000 square meter factory will have a maximum production capacity of 600,000 units and will create 750 jobs. It will be Haier’s second refrigerator factory in Europe after its Russia-based one and the two will produce more than 1000, 000 refrigerators per year after the Romania-based factory put into production.
