Following regulatory approvals, Midea Group has completed its acquisition of a majority stake in Residentia Group. The two home appliance businesses will move forward as Midea Residentia Australia. The combination brings together Midea' s global technology, R&D, manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities with Residentia Group' s local expertise and established brand portfolio, helping address the needs of Australian consumers more closely. Midea Residentia will bring more locally relevant products, practical innovation and reliable service to Australian households.
