Smart water purification factory of BWT Haier put into production in Qingdao

Smart water purification factory of BWT Haier was put into production in Qingdao, Shandong province on June 9, 2023. The factory is located at Qingdao International Economic Cooperation Zone with a planning area of 61333 sqm (92 Mu) and a total investment of 0.46 billion Yuan. It manufactures full-line household water purification products including prefilters, central water softeners, central water filters and under-sink water filters with a designed full capacity of 2 million units per year. The cooperation between Haier and BWT started from 2019. The production of the new factory marks a strategic upgrade of the cooperation.
