AWE2022 is scheduled to open on March 17-20 2022 in Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) under the theme of “Smartize the Future”. Launched in August 2021, the show has since been in the spotlight.

AWE2022 will bring together more than 1,200 brands at home and abroad to its 14 exhibition halls (W1-W5, N1-N5, E1-E4) on a 160,000 sqm area to display the newest products and trends in home appliances, consumer electronics, smart home, smart entertainment, IoT, AI and 5G.

The successful organization of AWE2021 strongly boosted the industry’s confidence in AWE2022. The growing number of international high-end brands such as Miele and Fisher & Paykel, the expanded exhibition portfolio with the participation of players in bathroom field such as Arrow and HEGII, and the return of heavy weights in consumer electronics including Huawei and LG are a vote of confidence in the unique value of AWE2022.

AWE2022 will keep the best practices of AWE2021 and step up its campaigns targeting online users to reflect the consumption habits of current consumers.

AWE Livestream Night Show, initiated at AWE2021, has been the most concerned topic at AWE2022’s pre-show communication meeting with exhibitors. To accommodate to China’s livestreaming trend, AWE2022 will keep and refine its livestream night show to accelerate the process of delivering innovative home appliances and consumer electronics from the supply side to the consumption side.

This year, AWE Livestream Night Show will partner with Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok), a leading short-video app, and Yangshipin, a livestream platform under China’s national TV station CCTV, to deliver the industry’s confidence in new retail to consumers while offer exhibitors enormous publicity.

Plus, AWE2022 will join hands with popular APPs including Baidu, AutoNavi, smzdm.com, Zhihu, bilibili.com, and Xiaohongshu to offer publicity for exhibitors while establish AWE into a world-leading, cutting-edge platform that offers smart home experience and interaction for consumers. Cooperated with Xinchao Media and Yongda Media, AWE will make advertising campaigns that cover high-speed rail stations and elevators to maximize the value of AWE.

AWE Summit has been a key event of AWE and it will be upgraded this year. The summit will focus on technology, finance and economics that indicate the latest consumption trends and intend to invite top executives of Huawei and Haier, renowned economists and key distributors to share their insights. Plus, AWE will set up a new forum under the name of Future Home 2035 to explore future home scenarios and the applications of cutting-edge tech-powered appliances.

To accommodate to the rise of beauty and personal care industry, AWE will celebrate a Beauty Festival while set up an AWE Charm Hall. Plus, a number of concurrent activities will be developed such as flash mob, recommendations from internet celebrities and makeup transformations to offer consumers a quality show that is fun, smart and beautiful.
