China Household Electrical Appliances Association was honored the 2017 Ozone Award for Partnership at the 29th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol held from Nov 20-24 in Montreal, Canada. Ozone Awards 2017 were designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Protocol.
Jiang Feng, President of China Household Electrical Appliances Association, says: China’s home appliance industry has come a long way in the past 30 years, putting unremitting efforts in implementing Montreal Protocol at the same time. This award signals international communities’ recognition of what China’s home appliance industry has done in the past. It also encourages the industry to shoulder more responsibility in global environmental protection down the road.
