China Household Electrical Appliances Association (CHEAA) held the fourth meeting of its sixth standing council in Tianjin on July 5, 2017. At the meeting, Jiang Feng, President of CHEAA, briefed the standing council members what CHEAA had done in the first half of 2017, and introduced the industry situation in the first half of 2017. Standing council members approved the proposal to promote three CHEAA Directors to be Deputy Secretary Generals.
This meeting invited Zhang Chonghe, President of China National Light Industry Council and Gao Yanmin, Director of Bureau of Consumer Goods under Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to give keynote speeches, and invited Qiu Xiaohua, a renowned economist to give a report titled Macro economic situation and the development of China’s home appliance industry. Attendees exchanged their views on the current situation and trends of the industry, what enterprises can do to deal with the changes in distribution channels, and the opportunities and challenges facing the industry in their global expansion and their according strategies.
