Chinese home appliance industry posted revenue of 1440.9 billion Yuan, up by 4.3% year-on-year, and profit of 117.02 billion Yuan, up by 12.9% year-on-year, from January to November 2019, according to Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
In terms of production, the combined production volume of refrigerators in China posted 76.574 million units for the same period, up by 4.0% year-on-year, air conditioners 199.561 million units, up by 5.8% year-on-year, and washing machines 67.1 million units, up by 10.1% year-on-year. For November alone, the production volume of refrigerators stood at 7.222 million units, up by 7.7% year-on-year, air conditioners 15.455 million units, up by 1.2% year-on-year, and washing machines 7.209 million units, up by 20.0% year-on-year.
