According to preliminary statistics released by China’s General Administration of Customs, China exported 1.917549 billion units of household appliances in the first five months of 2026, up 4.1% year on year from 1.842568 billion units in the same period last year. Export value reached US$42.785 billion, representing a 4.3% increase from US$41.017 billion a year earlier.
In May alone, household appliance exports totaled 419.892 million units, with export value reaching US$8.982 billion, up 9.5% year on year.
