Appliance & Electronics World Expo 2019 (AWE 2019), an industry gala for global home appliance and consumer electronics industry, kicks off on March 14 at Shanghai New International Expo Center. Themed with “Falling in love with AI·Smart Life”, AWE 2019 puts on show a full spectrum of the latest AI innovations covering home appliances, consumer electronics, smart home appliances, IoT, AI, 5G, smart driving and smart recreation, among others. With an unprecedented 900 exhibitors present on the scene, this year’s AWE has its place reaffirmed as Asia’s largest home appliance and consumer electronics expo and one of the world’s three top-notch home appliance and consumer electronics expos.
Covering 130,000 m2 across ten halls of the grand pavilion (from W1-W5 to N1-N5), AWE 2019 puts on display smart products and solutions in a broad range, including white goods, smart TVs, 3C digital products, cooking and sanitary appliances, environmental equipment, beauty and personal care products, cleaning appliances, healthcare equipment, smart appliances, AI, wearable devices, VR/AR, IoT, internet-capable vehicles and robots.
AWE 2019 houses almost 900 of the world’s premiere home appliance makers, consumer electronics manufacturers, core component suppliers, and IT/internet companies. In the limelight are not only local heavyweights (e.g. Haier, Midea, Hisense, TCL, Skyworth, Konka, Changhong, Gree, Aux, Robam and Fotile), but also international industry giants (e.g. Bosch, Siemens, AEG, Panasonic, Sony, Sharp, Samsung, LG, A. O. Smith and Philips), IT and Internet titans including (e.g. Huawei, JD and Qihoo 360), component suppliers (e.g. GMCC & Welling, Jiaxipera, Embraco, Highly and Donper), and AI platforms (e.g. Xlink, Unisound, Broadlink and Tuya). More than that, a large host of brands make their debut at this year’s AWE, like LG Display, Rinnai, Nobilia, Gorenje, Colmo and iflytek. It’s worthy of note that AWE joins hands with over a dozen AMK members, including Nobilia, Schott and Nolte, forming the strongest array of top German kitchen brands in AWE history.
Organizer statistics point to a refresh of historical records of registered visitors, with a 200%+ growth in registered consumer number and an estimated number of 350,000 visitors from at home and abroad. AWE 2019 is well expected to set an all-new record of multiple indicators including exhibitor number, visitor number and new product number.
Plus, AWE 2019 provides industry players a series of platforms to exchange views, seek opportunities and talk business, which includes: China Household Electrical Appliance Development Summit, China Environment & Health Household Electrical Appliance Summit, China Household Electrical Appliance Industry Chain Conference, China Real Estate Fine Decoration Forum & Modern Kitchen Summit, CIC Cross-border Cooperation Initiative & Information Security Standard Press Release, Global Technology Innovation Conference on AI Chip, and “AWE Award” Ceremony. Consumers will also witness the debut of AWE Kitchen Appliance Gourmet Festival and JD Shopping Festival. Furthermore, there are as many as over a hundred product launches, brand strategy launches and interactive consumer experience activities separately organized by exhibitors.
