Haier Smart Home increases its investment overseas with two new factories built in Turkey, after the opening of its overseas factories in India, Romania and Russia, according to the announcement of the company made on October 25 2021.
With an investment of 85 million Euros, the company plans to improve its production capacity to 2.5 million units per year. The two factories marks a milestone in Haier’s implementation of its smart home strategy, and a key step in elevating Haier to the top three players in the industry in Europe.
Haier Smart Home has always placed Turkey as its largest production and export center in Europe to serve its domestic and global markets.
It is learned that the new tumble dryer factory covers an area of 4,3000 sqm and has the capacity to produce more than 1.5 million units per year, while the new dishwasher factory, built on a 3,5000 sqm area, has the full capacity of 1 million units per year. Plus, the two factories will create 1600 jobs.
