Nov.24 2017 -- Renowned Chinese home appliance maker, Sichuan Changhong Electric Co., has unveiled its first batch of high-end intelligent home appliances for the Australian market, the CHiQ series, marking a key step in the company’s internationalization efforts, Xinhua News Agency reported Nov 23.

The CHiQ series, previously introduced in China, South America and Europe, includes TVs, refrigerators, freezers and other smart appliances.

"More and more Chinese enterprises have emerged on the world stage in the home appliance and communications industries,” said Huang Dawen, deputy general manager at Changhong Electric. “To go global, Chinese enterprises should rely not only on product exports, but also the integration of global capital, as well as human and service resources, to provide the consumers with the best products," he added.

Changhong first set up a subsidiary in Melbourne, Australia in 2000, and has established a comprehensive local network covering sales, after-sales, services and logistics.
