JD.com’s First RoboBase Project Launched in Guangzhou’s Huangpu District

JD.com’s first RoboBase project broke ground on July 11 in Guangzhou’s Huangpu District, the same day the company signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with the Guangdong Provincial Government. Built by JD Industrial Development, the RoboBase project is a robot lifecycle infrastructure platform integrating R&D, manufacturing, application and services. It aims to create a complete robotics ecosystem and serve as an industrial platform for intelligent robot development. Located in Huangpu Science City, the project is the first landmark facility under the Guangdong-JD strategic partnership and a key part of JD’s expansion into advanced manufacturing and robotics.
