On June 8, to provide users with a more intelligent interactive experience, WeChat Open Class officially released the Guidelines for Developers to Integrate into the WeChat AI Ecosystem, opening up a streamlined channel for developers to access WeChat's AI capabilities.
As one of the first partner companies to participate in the WeChat Agent closed beta, TCL Industries has completed integration, testing, and validation across its mini-programs for core product categories such as TVs and air conditioners. This marks the imminent roll-out of their collaborative exploration in the home appliance AI sector. Looking ahead, TCL Industries and WeChat will continue to deepen their partnership, gradually expanding integration to more product categories and engaging in deep synergy across key areas to jointly build an open, intelligent home appliance AI ecosystem, unlocking an imaginative new smart living experience for users.
Midea has also completed its integration and adaptation as one of the first enterprises in the whole-house smart home closed beta. Centering on core whole-house appliances—including air conditioners, water heaters, washing machines, air purifiers, and range hoods—Midea will leverage the WeChat AI Agent to provide users with natural language control capabilities, covering high-frequency scenarios such as turning devices on/off, adjusting modes, and querying device status. Moving forward, the two sides will further expand into more whole-house smart control scenarios and explore full-life cycle services including pre-sales, simplified network pairing, Q&A knowledge bases, and after-sales support, aiming to create a more convenient and intelligent smart home experience.
