Welling said on Dec 9 that its manufacturing plant in Santa Rita, Brazil, has officially commenced operations.
The facility will primarily produce high-efficiency BLDC motors for air conditioners, the company said. Covering an area of more than 6,000 square metres, the plant has an annual production capacity of over 2 million units and will mainly supply local air-conditioning manufacturers in Brazil.
The Brazil plant marks Welling's latest overseas manufacturing site, following its existing production bases in Shunde, Wuhu and Huai’an in China, as well as facilities in Thailand and India.
Welling said it has established multiple manufacturing plants and research and testing facilities in the HVAC and home appliance sector both in China and overseas, including in Japan, Brazil, Thailand, the United States and India, to support global customer demand.
