Aucma, a leading enterprise from the Qingdao West Coast New Area, had a groundbreaking ceremony for the Aucma Indonesia Intelligent Manufacturing Factory in Indonesia. This significant investment represents a new phase in the alignment between China's Belt and Road Initiative and Indonesia's development goals.
The new facility will focus on intelligent manufacturing, producing both domestic refrigeration appliances and smart cold chain equipment. It will utilize advanced technologies, including ultra-low temperature refrigeration, green energy efficiency, and intelligent IoT systems. Built to leading industry standards, the factory will operate on a localized strategy that fosters local technical expertise and establishes a comprehensive base for R&D, production, and sales.
Upon completion, the project is expected to achieve an annual capacity of 500,000 units of household and commercial refrigerators and freezers.
Construction is set to begin before the end of 2027, with production slated to start in 2028. This strategic expansion is expected to fill a market gap for mid-to-high-end cold chain products in Indonesia and serve as a key hub to supply the broader Southeast Asian and global markets.
