On October 13, Haier Group officially announced that it has recently signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Alibaba Group, marking the start of an all-around AI partnership. Leveraging Haier’s full-ecosystem layout and Alibaba’s end-to-end AI capabilities, the two parties will jointly build a new digital industry ecosystem.
The cooperation will focus on core areas such as AI + cloud, advanced manufacturing, e-commerce, and globalization. In AI + cloud, they will carry out full-stack collaboration to co-develop industry models for multiple scenarios. In advanced manufacturing, both sides will integrate their strengths to drive innovation in AI technologies and their applications in manufacturing. In e-commerce, they will deepen cooperation in domestic and international consumer sectors to build a cross-industry, cross-regional digital ecosystem. In globalization, they will jointly develop cloud service platforms to support Haier’s overseas expansion.
