New national standard for room air conditioner to take effect since May 1
Mandatory national standard GB/T 7725-2022 Room air conditioner was officially released on October 14, 2022. It will replace the existing standard GB/T 7725-2004 Room air conditioner that has been in place for more than a decade. The standard is to take effect from May 1, 2023.
